HAPPY HOLI EVERYONE…
Well its Holi… And going with the festive spirit, we have updated the look of 160by2 also. A new alert category has been added for HOLI, so that you can enjoy HOLI & still wish every one. Hope you guys like it. :-)
We have added a “Change Username” feature. So, for all of those, who wanted to change the username, you can now do it easily. This feature is available in the “My profile” under the “Change Username” tab.
Also, we have revamped the Alerts page - the new look, is intended to be clean & crisp.
On the growth front, we have had an astounding growth in the past month. We have about 6 Lakh users as of today & have sent over 2.6 Cr msgs till date - for the nummerically inclined, the exact figure is 2,60,35,567 messages !!!
Also, SMS from WAP have been showing an exponential growth …. it is now approaching 50,000 sms-a-day. The increase in SMS from 160by2 WAP site is mostly due to the introduction of ”Templates” on WAP.
We shall soon, be introducing our other features on WAP also, so do watch out…

The site to too good in functionalty .
I would like to suggest certain things
1)The site can improve on GUI part (optional)
2)The mobile number of users should be checked periodically . ..
we would not want a person (registered with an expired number) to send sms to anyone … (IMPORTANT)
3)we can have an ease of selection TO field by having a popup to address book and checking the contacts there.( Required )

This is a very good service you are doing. Let me tell you my experience. Once I officially went to Cochin, and my mobile balance got exhausted. But Thanks to 160/2 I could sent an sms to my friend in my home town (Bangalore) and recharge the same immediately.

hi, this is verry special service but there is some minor problems like you can send 50 messeges per day. if you charged for more than 50 messeges per day i think it is better for some one who want to send more than 50 messeges.

It is a nice site and useful one but it would be more useful if it was designed like a messenger where we can send sms to phone just login to the messenger instead of opening the entire website.
Like to get a download for installing the software of the messenger of this website to send sms to any mobile number, that would be much better and easy to use frequently keeping it as a sidebar on desktop instead of the whole webpage.
