It is now more than a year since we at 160by2 started serving you as a FREE SMS provider online. In this period, we have moved from being a relatively unknown website to now have more than a million users logging in everyday to send free SMS to their loved ones.
A million people cannot have the same needs and we realized it long time ago and this prompted us to launch newer and better ways to send free SMSes online. While we have introduced so many exciting ways to send SMS for free, we also felt it necessary to communicate this better to you, our favorite users. We have hence redesigned the homepage of 160by2.com to provide a cleaner and better interface where you can easily get to know about the different ways to send SMS. Also, with the number of new users visiting our site increasing exponentially, our new design would help these new users to register from the homepage itself.

Congratulations for this really cleaner and nicer interface. I wrote about 160by2.com when it was launched last year on my blog. I still get lot of visitors to my blog who come from search engines while searching for 160by2.com or for free sms service.

The interface and features in both the versions(WEB & WAP) are really user friendly! I am really amazed by its WAP version which allows me to send sms while i m on move…it saves me a lot of money as i can msg my frnds while i m on roaming….The WAP version is really fast and works efficiently even on mobiles with a mediocre WAP browser!
