Two Million Users – Thank You ALL!

On the auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturti in the holy Islamic month of Ramadan and when the Jains amongst us were celebrating Sawantsari, 160by2.com crossed yet another amazing landmark. We now have more than 2 million registered users amongst us! This has been quite a journey of just over a year. It took us 11 months to reach the 1 million mark. And the 2 million mark was reached in less than 4 months following that!

So what is it that has made this journey so exhilarating? In one word, it is YOU, our users. One year back, we were kicked by the idea of serving free SMS to our users and till date, it is the idea of providing something valuable that has kept us going. This has been the inspiration behind us working on more and better features like MyAds and Classifieds.

Hence, now is the time for us to stop by and thank each of our users who have made all of this happen. Now is also the time we would like to thank each of our advertisers who discovered the potential in the innovative concept of this powerful medium of personal messaging. Thank You All!!!

Lastly, I would like to extend a personal welcome to our two millionth user – Onkar Khanolkar!

    http://www.160by2.com is best for me, but some demerits are, when you open this gprs then the no. writing shoud in no. form, for it we have to press “2″ four time to print “2″, it problem can be solve, word limit should be add upto 100 words

    this is a great site. there is so much to say about this site. i thank u very much. keep up the good work. but my password keeps on changing every now and then. is this coz of the heavy traffic. i hope this problem will be recovered soon.

    even though lakh together is using this site.. this should not be the speed..

    just take an eg. of “orkut”.. million people r using tht site simultaneoulsy… and the speed is acceptable..

    we expect the same thing with “160by2″

    i think this site sucks eventually due to addition of so many adds. it takes a hell lotta time to open an accout just due to the unnecessary flashing of adds.
    it’ll be better if this annoying part of the website is removed
