A lot of you have been requesting us for longer message length. Yes, we have heard you and have been working on this. Today, we are launching an application for mobile phones that are supported by Symbian third and fifth editions. This will let you send 145 character long SMSes from the convenience of your mobile phone.
This has not been a quick fix solution to the character length requirement. Instead, we have worked to provide you with an application that shall serve as an interface that shall help you integrate your mobile phone messages folder with our 160by2 platform. Here are some things that you can now do with the new 160by2 app:

Access your native phonebook on your mobile phones while selecting contacts to send message

Dear 160by2 users,
The main feature of 160by2 symbian application is to let our users access mobile’s inbox, sent & phonebook features to compose & send sms directly from 160by2. As these features cannot be implemented in other platforms, this app supports only Symbian S60 3rd & higher edition mobiles.
We are soon upcoming with a new Java Application which again supports 80 characters but has new look & feel with feature addons.
